Hook size and plastic worms
when fishing for bass!
When angling for large mouth bass,
we many times 
change the color and size of the worms. Avid bass fisher persons invent,
devise, and study ways to get that bass. The beginner can start to learn with
a few good tips.
Plastic worms can be purchased with hooks provided.
The hook is usually sized for the length of the worm and the diameter; but
if you have to select your own hook you may spoil the mix. If the hook
selected is too large, the action of the worm will be unnatural. If the hook
is too small, hooking a bass in its tough mouth is virtually impossible.
Bass are smart. With a live worm, and the wrong hook, those bass can be lost.
