How frequently searching for a tangible or intangible thing, the very essence of it surrounds you. It doesn't make any difference how old you are, the good things in life are there every minute of the day. There is a period in everyone's life to take a moment and take a good look at yourself.

Have you noticed the color of a bird's wing when in a fleeting moment this living creature swept by looking for a bug or two to feed their young. Perhaps it was a tiny wren no bigger than a half dollar, and weighs no more than a few ounces. How wonderful it is to notice the minute' things in nature and how precious those tiny things are.     Take a moment and release your mental faculties from tunnel vision. Dream a little and realize what you have missed the past 20 years or more. Have you noticed the subtle changes in chirping insects; variations in sizes, some crawl, some fly, and some lie immobile waiting for the opportunity to pounce on the prey they are waiting for.

Nature presented all things with a color and shape to protect their bodies. There are literally thousands of individual characteristics to protect any creature from predators and thousands of other characteristics given to life itself to make them identifiable by smell, sight, or touch.

Many individuals only see their surroundings as a flat scene with no depth, no color, or acceptance to our senses. Is it the accelerated speed in which the world has evolved? Is it a mode of futility brought on by wars, pain, catastrophes, or a reluctance to give up what little possessions a person has been left with? Does greed reduce and destroy inherent properties of the mind? How blank is the world of those without purpose.

Bodies of water are not flat surfaces of nothing. Beneath the surface a crowning glory in a blazing myriad of color erupts. Beneath that shimmering surface lies hundreds of thousands of living creatures, plants, and beauty beyond our imagination. What prevents a person from letting their imagination run wild to see this world in its true beauty. Your mind can view a new and startling world if you let it go, and overflow with imagination.

Isn't it grand to stand in a cool breeze, filling your lungs with nature's breath of life. See the pure white clouds floating in and around the vast blue space. How brilliant the ball of light seems to be as it rises in the distance, but yet seems closer than you thought. How wonderful it is to share these experiences with others; perhaps a wife, brother, sister, or a friend.

If you are not wealthy, but healthy and wise; the reality of living, of life, not only yours but the millions of other living things can be yours if you open up and start to live by standards long forgotten. The conflicts of the bursting humanities has burst a few cogs in the wheels of life and have to be repaired. Take your time and enjoy your beautiful life to its fullest.

It's 2006 and you are alive!
